Who wouldn’t love a gorgeous sunny day wedding at the Brix & Columns Vineyard in McGaheysville VA? We photographed Matt and Morgan’s engagement session over the winter at the State Arboretum of Virginia.  A gorgeous location, even with the chilly (okay – downright freezing!) temps.  Their nice warm wedding day was quite welcome after the snowy engagement session!  Brix & Columns vineyard wedding venue is a dream, and Morgan & Matt are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet!

With a bright and airy bridal suite as a backdrop for wedding prep, everything started off smoothly as Morgan stepped into her breathtaking lace wedding gown.  Her cascading bouquet of burgundy, pink and cream went perfectly with the burgundy bridesmaid dresses, all having a unique style tie. Morgan and Matt exchanged letters to each other prior the wedding, and it felt so wrong (and so cool) to be included in such intimate moments.  The entire day went wonderfully, with a warm sunny outdoor ceremony that was followed by family formals, bridal party portraits, and of course my favorite – romantic bride and groom photos!  The reception was a blast, and everyone had a great time!  I am so thankful that Morgan and Matt chose me to be their photographer for this awesome wedding!
